I wanted to share some images on a high fashion photoshoot I did makeup for recently. Here are some quick tips to get fast editorial makeup.
I created flushed Cheeks and lips using Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Hollywood - a vibrant magenta. You can use any product anywhere you need it - in this case lipstick on the cheeks. I also used eyebrow pencil to create faux freckles. All you need to do is create small dots using brown eyebrow pencil then set them with a translucent powder so they look natural.
We shot this at Goat Arts Farm studios in Atlanta. Love the natural backdrops. I love shooting outside - sunlight is the best natural filter for pictures. The key is to make sure you prime the skin to withstand outside conditions. I love using Embryolisse products.
If you're doing full body shots, I always recommend applying makeup to the body - especially highlighted areas like the shoulders and legs. Here's a tip, use a clear spray sunscreen on the body after you apply makeup - it acts as a setting spray and barrier so that the makeup will not rub off on clothing.
To get this glow I layered liquid illuminator underneath Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover Foundation. This has been my go to method for amazing skin lately.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures from this shoot. I've got some more great client shoots coming!
