I wanted to share a makeover I recently did on my a friend of mine for her birthday. I'm going to break down how I accomplished this soft glam look. Check it out!
My friend usually wears pretty minimal makeup but she wanted to try something different for her birthday. We amped up the glam while still keeping her looking like herself.
First off, I painted her skin with liquid shimmer...a lighter gold color on the center of the face and a bronze tone on the outer perimeter. This will make the skin glow under foundation. Then I covered that with Danessa Myricks foundation which matched her skin beautifully. To keep the glow I set it with Laura Mercier new Glow translucent powder, focusing it on the center of her face.
We went for a rose gold eye with a smoked out wing. I used my Lorac Unzipped Palette and topped it with Pixi Beauty Fairy Lights - a cream glitter. I love using these to really make the eyes sparkle. Of course I also topped it off with falsies.
Lastly, I painted on a nude lip. First I lined with MAC Chestnut lip pencil then I used a Loreal Nude lipstick. Over the top I mixed a gold glitter mixed with clear lipgloss to give a sparkly finish.
Hope you enjoyed this makeup breakdown!
