I'm back with another Packing Tips Video! I went on another Carnival Cruise with my family in March 2018 and I thought it would be helpful to show you how I packed for my cruise while pregnant - there are some special items to pack and some procedures you need to follow. Also I show you what I actually used and didn't, and gave you some updates on some changes on this cruise that weren't around when I went on the same Carnival Liberty ship last year. Check it out!
Check out the video!
For those traveling on a Carnival Cruise you can't travel on the ship if at any point you exceed 24 weeks pregnant. That means if you start the cruise at 23 weeks pregnant and you'll be crossing into the 24th week while on the ship you still can't attend. My parents bought travel insurance and Carnival required that I have the doctor sign a form with basic pregnancy due date information.
Also be aware of what ports you're traveling to and the exposure of Zyka. I went from Orlando to the Bahamas because both are not listed as Zyka risks on the CDC website. Just in case I had bug repellant with 30% deet - you shouldn't exceed this percentage while pregnant.
A couple of helpful items to pack or anti-nausea remedies like sea bands or ginger pills. I also had my own snacks like crackers.
