Happy Friday! I've got another exciting post and giveaway for you. Recently I met an amazing company on Instagram. We followed each other's accounts and I was lucky enough to try out some of their product and I was blown away! These are some amazing shades of lip color and so affordable. I love that it's also by a woman owned company, girl power! Check out my swatches, review and giveaway details!
The owner of Pout Makeup Barbados Kerri-Ann is a lover of a good lippie and she sent me such a great selection. I really love all of the options she sent over. First up, the Pout Creamy Matte Lipstick. Both shades are matte, but still comfortable and not overly drying. Mean girl is a gorgeous blue based magenta shade. I rocked it with MAC Magenta lipstick and it was a match made in Heaven. Talk to me is the perfect nude. It has just the right amount of mauvey pink so that it doesn't go ashy on the lips. I rock this with my favorite brown lip liner and it's just right.
Onto the liquid lipsticks! I've got 3 gorgeous shades to try out - all super wearable but on trend too. The lipstick consistency was thin but packed with color. I was surprised that one dip was enough to cover my entire lips and I didn't have that cakey lip feeling that I get with other liquid lipsticks which are too mousy that they crack or that require too many layers for opacity.
Power is a bright violet purple shade. The name is perfect because on the lips this is Pow! I love that it's such a bold color but still wearable at the same time. Pair it with a purple lip pencil, a nude eye and your look is done.
Bad and Bougie is the perfect red lip. It's deep and rich and would look great on any skin tone from light to deep. I like wearing mine with a burgundy lip pencil to give the vampy effect.
Last but not least, BFF is that good lip color that you keep coming back to. It's a mauvey dusty rose that looks great for day and night. I definitely got compliments when I wore this out. I think it's the perfect introduction to Fall Makeup. Oh and did I mention that it's an amazing dupe for Kat Von D Lolita lipstick?
Onto the matte lipsticks! Just like the liquid lipsticks, I love the shade options and definitely the price, only $5! The colors are very rich and pigmented and give off a nice matte finish.
Mean girl is a gorgeous blue based fuchsia shade. It really brightens up the entire face. This is totally a girls trip kind of shade. It's super matte and super chic.
Next up is Talk to Me, a super sexy nude. It has a pink undertone which makes it much more wearable than other gray or beige based nudes. I find this shade to be matte but a little bit creamy which is nice and super comfortable to wear. This is one of those go to lip colors that always makes you feel fierce.
