How much foundation do you really get in a 1 oz bottle?

Hi Bellas,

I was recently replenishing my kit with my new favorite liquid foundations Make Up For Ever HD and I was surprised to see how much you actually get in a bottle.  Check it out!

In my kit I like to save space with these flip top bottles from Amazon.  They're easy to squeeze, don't spill and have easy caps that you never lose.  I unscrewed the pumps from my MUFE HD foundations and turned them over into my flip top bottles overnight.  There is 1 fluid oz in most foundations.  This is what it actually looks like.

The bottle is filled only half way.  It's crazy how the original packaging makes it seem like you get so much more.  I even tried to get a mini spatula on the side to scrape off product but it wasn't that much.

On a positive note I was able to use one of the pumps to insert into my new NARS sheer glow foundation.  I just had to trim the length a bit and then it screwed right in.
