I wanted to take it back to some makeup basics. I am always surprised when I teach my Makeup Students that a lot of them do not know how to apply a basic winged liner. It's usually a game of chance with them, some times it looks good sometimes it doesn't. Well, I have 3 easy steps to make sure your winged liner looks good each time. Check out my new youtube video!

Products used:
Step 1: Use the bottom of your lashline as a guide. Follow the curve up and draw a straight line in the same angle as your eye. The liner should be a few millimeters out from your eye, the longer it is the more dramatic it is.
Step 2: From the top of your line, drop a line at a 45 degree angle to meet your top lashline. This is your wing.
Step 3: Fill in the wing with liner and connect the wing to the liner on the inside half of your lid.
Tip: Make sure you have a good liner brush that is stiff, nice and sharp. Also, if you make a mistake use a wet wipe wrapped around your pointer finger to clean up the excess. You can also apply concealer on an angled brush to clean up the line.
