Best Self Atlanta: 1 Hour Amazing Makeovers Event

Hi Bellas,

Recently I had the opportunity to participate in the Best Self Atlanta Amazing Makeovers Event.  Along with other super talented makeup artists in Atlanta, I was able to do a one hour makeover on a reader which was documented in the magazine.  Check it out!

For the magazine makeover, I have my lovely reader Annie.  I was pretty much allowed to do anything I wanted for the makeover yay!  First off, I worked on perfecting her skin.  I wish I had gotten a before shot.  She had some areas of discoloration as well as a little facial hair around the mouth I wanted to cover up.  Corrector to the rescue!  I used my Graftobian Corrector palette and Neutral Super palette to get some awesome but natural coverage.

She usually wears neutrals so I decided to mix it up by doing a purply burgundy smokey eye.  I also applied my favorite 747s lashes.

I also wanted to enlarge her lip shape.  I did that by overdrawing her lip line and then blending it into a lighter color to give a fuller effect.

I was only supposed to do one makeover, but I decided to hook up her friend who patiently waited by her side.  This is my quick 20 minute makeover.

I used a purple liner which looked great on her pale skin.  I also thickened her brows...she was totally not used to it but I think it gave her a youthful effect along with the 747s falsies I gave her.

I gave her a nice cream lilpstick to add moisture and fullness to her lips.  I can't wait for the final professional pics which of course I'll share with you.  Stay tuned!
