I wanted to share with you a makeover on a recent client. She was doing a speaking engagement and wanted her makeup done to make her look polished and professional. You definitely need to tailor the makeup to the occasion but you can still have a little fun with color and texture. Check it out!

My client pretty much gave me open reign to do whatever look I wanted. I saw that she had a lovely fuchsia dress on, so I decided to keep the eyes neutral and have a pop of color on the lips.
My ultimate goal was to brighten her up. I accomplished this by correcting her dark areas such as under the yes and spot spots on her cheek with a salmon colored corrector.
I kept the lids neutral with a pretty rosey taupe shade so that the lip could pop. We went with a sheered out fuchsia gloss so that she had a brightness to the lip without it being overwhelming. To do this, I usually mix a lipstick with a clear gloss to sheer it out.
Hope you all enjoyed this makeover, more to come! If you're interested in booking my services, email makeupyren@yahoo.com
