Wedding Series: Blinged Out Blush - Bridal Shower Nails

Last weekend was a whirlwind.  It was my bridal shower/bachelorette weekend!  I'm so excited to share my amazing experience with you as part of my wedding series here on my blog and social media.  First thing I wanted to show you were my fabulous blinged out nails.  These were perfect for my shower.  Check it out!

I definitely wanted super girly nails for my bridal shower and a little extra bling never hurt anyone.  I picked up Static Nails in the style "Cristal" from PhamExpo.  The super cool thing about these nails are that they are glue on...like the old school press-on nails but better.  They're called the "Reusable Manicure".

There are 24 nails in different sizes that you simply glue on with the included nail glue.  I prepped my nails first by pushing my cuticles back.  I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at the results.  They took just a few minutes to apply.  Originally the nails were much longer but you can cut and file them down to any shape.  You can even paint these nails if you want.

I found that the nails lasted about 4 days before the thumbnail popped up.  This was partly because I was traveling and using my nails a lot with moving around my luggage.  The packaging says they last up to 14 days which maybe the case depending on how hard you are on them.  I got soooooo many compliments on the nails and no one believed they were glue on.  Here's a little tip, if you do cut them make sure to file the ends smooth.  I accidentally scratched my cornea when removing a contact lens and ended up in the ER.  I completely blame myself because I didn't file down the rhinestone accent nail as much as I should have.  Anyways, I totally recommend these, you can find them on @staticnails on instagram.
