I'm back with another look of the day and this one I love! I was inspired by my girl Suerny to go for this cool taupe look. It's definitely a look outside of my comfort zone but I'm surprised at how flattering it came out. If you like taupes, cool tones and grays, this is for you!
My girl rocked this look at IMATS after she bought the Tarte Amazonian Clay Palette and LA Splash Ghoulish OG Liquid Lipstick. I bought the same products!
This palette was such a good deal, just $20. I was surprised at how easily the eyeshadows blend - it's actually a really useful palette. At first I thought the colors wouldn't suit me since there are a lot of medium, cool tone shades. However, they pack a lot of color but not too much where even a beginner could use it. I think this would also be great for mature skin since a lot of the colors are have a satin finish and have wearable shades.
On the lids I have a shimmery moss green and I placed a plum in the crease. The champagne tone in the palette isn't shimmery, instead it literally leaves a glow on my skin, great for highlighting! On my face I'm rocking my CoverFX Custom Cover Drops with my Honey Moon Primer - I definitely went for full coverage using 4-5 drops to complement this glam makeup.
The lips are a focal point of the look - I love this Ghoulish OG shade, the taupe is different but so wearable!
