Hi Bellas,
I'm back with another review. This time I'm testing out a face mask. I've been on the hunt for one recently that will bring a nice boost to tired skin. Check it out!
Then I received a sample of the Tarte Double Detox Amazonian Clay Exfoliating Facial Mask during my Friends & Family haul, just in time! I'm a fan of the Tarte line and their Amazonian Clay products. I know that my skin can handle the cosmetics and maracuja oils so I was hoping I wouldn't have an averse reaction to this product.
The mask was enough for about two uses. It's a very thick, pasty consistency with exfoliating beads built in.
I applied the mask onto clean skin and let it sit for about 20 minutes while I also left Coconut Oil in my hair for deep conditioning. I did feel some tingling while the mask dried but no hot face or weird reactions, and that's a good thing for my sensitive skin! Some of the exfoliating beads did fall off as I touched my face to see if it was dry.
After I washed off the mask, my skin did have a bit of a glow. It felt clean. I waited to see if the next day if there would be results from the detox. I've heard that with some detox masks impurities push through such as under the skin pimples. I actually didn't experience that. I didn't notice a huge difference to my skin but mind you I've only tried it twice. The description on the website says results in as low as 5 weeks. With the container being $38 i'll probably wait to pick it up during the next Friends and Family sale. In the meanwhile, I'm on the hunt for a cheaper mask. Any recommendations? Let me know in the comments below!

I've been using Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask that I received from Influensta. It's about $10 at Ulta or any pharmacy store. It makes my skin softer and smoother. It's a bit running so make sure you shake up the bottle before opening it. But I think you would love it as much as I do.
@mrslovelyann thank you I'll look out for it!
