Hi Bellas,
So I'm back with a super exciting post - my bestie's wedding pictures! I had the honor of doing the bride's makeup. Plus, I was her maid of honor! We finally got the amazing professional photos back courtesy of Janet Howard Studio. Take a look!
This was definitely the most important makeover that I've personally done year to date. I really wanted to do my best to make it special for my bestie. We went for a dramatic smokey eye and pink nude lip, along with glowy skin to go with her glam gown. Though the eyes were dramatic, we wanted her to look like herself with a glow.
On her eyes I used MAC eyeshadows in Carbon, Bronze, Arena, and Saddle. I gave her tearducts a fun pop of rose gold glitter using Stila's Magnificent Metals Eyeshadow. I splurged a bit and hooked up my bestie with mink falsies by Velour Lashes.
On her skin we used Makeup Forever HD Foundation for base, highlight and contour, Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer to correct, and MAC MSF Natural to set. I also used Tarte blush and topped it with MAC MSF in Gold Deposit and CoverFX Sunlight illuminator to give that glow.
Her makeup beautifully contrasted the bridesmaids looks where we had more of a dramatic lip and nude eye compared with her smokey eye and light lip.
I hope you enjoyed my bestie's wedding makeup! If you're interested, I should be able to convince her to do a YouTube tutorial. Let me know in the comments below!
