Review: Senna's Fall 2013 MidnightWine Collection

Hi Bellas,

Who's excited for Fall?  I am am!  I'm all about the berry and wine tones to incorporate into my makeup routine.  Senna's new Fall Collection made it to my mailbox just in time.  I've been playing with products from their Midnight Wine Collection and I am in love.  I've always said that Senna is an under-rated brand that you need to pay attention to.  Check it out!

This collection is described as "Berry Intoxicating" - Lush Autumn Vines tint cheeks with full-bodied definition.  Metallic Elements glimmer with a bronzed warmth over subtly smoldering eyes.  I love that Senna always gives two look options with their collections - this time it's Ravishing Ruby and Neo Copper.
Eye Colors
Coppertina Glow
This shade is a gorgeous, gold-flecked copper.  It's such a versatile color that looks amazing as a pop of neutral sparkle on the lid.
Cordovan Glow
This shade is a subtle, bronzed wine.  I love this color to subtle build up a brown smokiness on the lid.  It is super wearable and so chic.
Cream Lipstick
Beautiful Bronze is a metallic lipstick which I'm typically not a fan of.  However, this looks absolutely amazing when popped in the center of the lips for glow.  I remember hearing that Beyonce's MUA uses only lipsticks and not glosses so that her hair won't catch on sticky lips during performances.  I can totally see her rocking this color.
Ruby is really nice wine toned lipstick which fits perfectly into fall makeup.  It's ultra creamy
Sheer Face Color
Mulberry is the absolute perfect plum/wine blush for Fall.  It goes on so creamy and pigmented but also is blendable at the same time.  I even love popping it in my crease for a bit of warmth.  This is totally making my monthly favorites.
Lip Lacquer
The Mulberry lip lacquer is the perfect match to the blush in this collection.  I love that it's a neutral plum that doesn't go to red.  You can wear it alone and still get a lot of color impact or pop it on top of a lippy.  Another monthly favorite!
Leather is a gorgeous coffee shade that reminds me when these tones used to be big in the 90s.  However it's clearly a more modern take in a gloss.  I think it looks so good matched with berry tones on the face.
Blush Wine is a metallic pink shade which isn't my typical choice but again it makes for a brilliant glow on the lips.  I can also see this being a gorgeous bridal shade.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's beautiful brownie inspired makeup look using the products from the Senna's Fall 2013 Midnight Wine Color Collection!
