I hope you’re not sick of Zombie Makeup but I’ve got one
more for you! Recently I hosted a
Walking Dead Viewing Party – one of my favorite shows ever! I was originally going to dress up as one of
the characters from the show but I decided to add a zombie twist to it last
minute. Check it out!
Check out the video!
Like I mentioned, I was actually dressing up as the
character Michonne – a dread-locked, Catana wheeling character on the
show. I wore a head wrap, leather
blazer, swords, cargos and boots. I was
originally going to dress up as the human version of the character, but I can’t
turn down a chance to do crazy makeup!
So I decided to go as the Zombie version of Michonne.
In my last video I mentioned that at my Atlanta Makeup
Meetup we had a Halloween theme and did a zombie demo. As you know, the host of the meetup Binders
Art has a new makeup department. I
picked up some new fake blood products from a brand called Fleet Street – the
same that they use on the Walking Dead. These
products are so realistic and amazing. I
wanted to definitely give it a whirl!
In this look I also used a couple of different materials to
get the zombie look including the liquid latex and tissue paper method. With zombie makeup, many use oatmeal to
create a rotting skin texture. I didn’t
have any so I used bread crumbs and rice which I glued on with liquid latex. I also used gelatin to create texture to my
skin and then painted everything with cream makeup and shadow.
The final look!
I hope you guys enjoyed!
Stay tuned for the next tutorial where I’ll be featuring another super
popular television show makeup look!

Wicked!
Eeeeeeeeeek ! You look scary but I love the makeup. Even though, I'm not a huge fan of horror movies and shows, I think adding your personal touch to a zombie makeup is unique.
