Happy Friday! Today I bring you a tiny haul from Sephora. Every year I purchase a luxury cosmetic product as a birthday gift to myself because I'm typically a cheapo throughout the year, lol. This time around, it was my first YSL Lipstick, yippee! So my birthday was back in June...apparently I never pressed submit on my Sephora order, lol, but better late then never.
I knew that i wanted to re-order my holy grail liquid highlighter YSL Touche Eclat #2. I decided to also pick up my first YSL lipstick as I've heard so many great things about it on YouTube. Decided to pick up a few samples too. I love that about Sephora.
This is my second tube of the Touche Eclat. It actually lasted me a really long time. It's an expensive product but worth it. I use shade #2, a yellowy tone on top of my corrector to highlight underneath my eyes. The consistency is amazing...it effortlessly blends into the skin to give you the bright highlight look.
I also purchased the Rouge Volupte Shine in shade "nude in private". I wanted to start out with something pretty basic that I thought I could get a lot of wear out of. After reading the Sephora reviews, a ton of people with similar coloring to me recommended this lipstick.
Here are swatches. As you can see, the lipstick isn't really that nude. It's more of a mauvey tone. I like it for everyday. It is a Volupte Shine, meaning it has more of a glossy consistency. I will say, it feels like butter and smells like yummy candy. Lasting power though...maybe an hour or two? The concealer looks super light in this picture and it is...but it's super blendable and looks great on.

Welcome to the club, Ren! I have two YSL lipsticks and I treasure them like the holy grail. Both of them are nude shades so the next time I save up enough to buy another, it will probably be a brighter shade!
Hey Ren! I agree with the two other ladies. Once you get a YSL lippy you want more. I have a pale pink and nude.
