Off the bat, the website deserves two thumbs up. www.VelourLashes.com is elegant, easy to navigate, and you get amazing lash shots. The pictures of the lashes are super clear and they even have models wearing the lashes. This is not a typical occurrence and makes a big difference in facilitating the purchasing process.
Onto the lashes! I received two pairs, on left "You Complete Me" and on the right "Oops! Naughty Me".
About Velour Lashes
These are 100% cruelty free lashes made of mink fur. Celebrities like J-Lo made mink lashes all the rage in recent years. The lash hairs are obtained from natural shedding and then sterilized to be hypo-allergenic. Unlike synthetic lashes they are non-dyed, softer and more natural in appearance. I'd say they are even softer and silkier than typical human hair lashes. The lash band is made for easy application and according to the company, with proper care the lashes can be worn up to 25 times. You'll want to take good care of them in order to make sure to get good use out of your investment.

This lash has medium length and gains more volume towards the edge, giving a bit of oomph at the corner. The lashes actually look amazingly natural on.
As an experienced lash wearer, I appreciate the natural sheen and soft texture of these lashes compared to synthetic and even human hair lashes.
I'm not one to shy away from dramatic makeup, and I love these for a daytime look as I still get the volume I want but the fact that more thickness is at the edge makes them completely appropriate for the day (or night if you choose). I've met many lashes in my day and have not seen a pair exactly like this.
"Oops! Naughty Me" Lash $34.99
Onto the drama! If I had to choose, i'll always go for a full, glam lash. When you look closely this lash has a series of criss cross lashes which create volume.
They also have a bit of extra length and a supper fluttery appeal. This is one of my go to styles which is especially flattering on monolids.
Here's the entire look with lashes (bridal tutorial coming soon). The lashes just make the look. Every time I instagram a pic with the Velour Lashes on, I always get inquiries and compliments. It's because these are not run of the mill lashes where you'll find dupes in your drugstore or beauty supply. Bottom line, the lashes just look better. They are truly luxury lashes. If you're a lash junkie like me, it's definitely a product that I recommend. I really feel special wearing them and I'm even going to have my bestie wear a pair on her wedding day.

I hate to say this, but this particular pair of bottom lashes is not a miracle, but pure garbage! I don't understand, how the manufacturer could let these on the market! What were they thinking? The bands are so flimsy, the lashes don't hold onto them at all! All the lashes glued on in different directions, so there's a total disarray - lashes are looking in random, opposite directions. There doesn't seem to be an easy fix for that, because when I tried to fix them gently, all the lashes just fell right off!!!!! I really hate this product and want to toss it in the garbage right away. But I feel so cheated for my money with this lashes, that I made a point, to send this shitty product back, and leave a very bad review on each website, that sells Lash At First Sight! I'm so angry about these lashes!!! On the other hand, I don't understand: the Kardashian bottom lashes have a strong band, the lashes don't easily fall out and they all look in the same direction... Who sent me these crappy ones? Well, Thanks a lot! I am returning!!!
