Tia & Tamera Mowry Inspired Celebrity Makeup - Smokey with a pop of teal

Hi Bellas,

I just love Tia & Tamera Mowry, my favorite celebrity twins.  I was recently watching their reality show on the Style Network and was really inspired to do a makeup tutorial.  I love that they have fun with makeup, experimenting with colors and bold looks, but it doesn't look too overdone like a lot of the makeup you see these days on other reality shows.

I started googling pictures of the makeup on the Tia and Tamera and found this smokey eye.  It's super simple, but I love the pop of teal on the waterline.  It's a great way to wear color without being too over the top.  I know a lot of people do this trick with a pop of aqua/teal with more bronzey looks in the summery, but this is a great way for some pop with a smokey eye, all year round.

For the smokey eye, I did a traditional method using The Balm NudeTude Palette.  I applied a medium brown shade in the crease to help blend, and patted a matte black on the lid.  For the lower lashline, I applied a teal pigment by OCC called Nori, and applied it with mainly the center of my waterline/lowerlashline.  That way it brings center focus to the girl.

To balance everything out, I used a warm pink blush from Wet N Wild called and Nude lips from Kiss Makeup.  I used Makeup For Ever Face and Body Foundation in the center of my face, darkened the outer perimeter with CoverFX cream foundation and used YSL Touche Eclat to give a higlight.  Set it all with Ben Nye Banana Powder and MAC MSF Natural in Medium Dark and that's it!

After doing some research, I decided to leave you with some of the twins' makeup must-haves and tips:

• Always use moisturizer with SPF
• It's worth investing in foundation to find the perfect shade - they like Make Up For Ever and Bobbi Brown
• Tia loves Nars blush and Tamara loves more bronzey cheek colors like Cargo Bronzer
• They love to play up their eyes and use Smashbox shadows
• They love MAC lipglasses
