November 2012 Favorites

It's time for another favorites video!  I tried to be a bit more timely this time around lol. I've got some great finds from the drugstore and department store including my new go to hair tool.  Check it out!

Senna Haute Nudes Palette - This is an awesome palette.  The nude colors are actually wearable, all of them.  And the blushes are pretty too.  I think i'll just throw this palette in my bag anytime I have a quick business trip - one and done!

MAC Rebel and Diva Lipsticks - Tis the season for dark, fall lippies!  I love these two shades from MAC.  Rebel is a more fuschia plum and Diva is a more burgundy plum.  Both are gorgeous, especially when paired with a deep lip pencil.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer - This was another YouTuber favorite from DestinyGodley.  This concealer is really nice - it applies so smoothly and looks so gorgeous on the skin, plus it's affordable!  Mine comes in a lipstick tube packaging but I do wish it came in a pot like the one I saw from DestinyGodley.  I think it may differ from where you purchase it - or maybe they have new packaging.  I have shade Medium Tan and it's a great match.

Hot Tools Deep Waver - I'm a sucker for big hair and these deep wavers are so easy to use.  It's a great way to wear long hair and lasts for days.

Reviva Glycolic Acid Face Cream 10% - This product is awesome!  I purchased it on Amazon for about $17 after seeing YouTuber at AndreasChoice mention it in her last favorites video.  It makes my skin so soft and seems to even out discoloration.  I only apply it at night since it does sting a bit and you don't want to overdo it with the Glycolic Acid.  They do have a less concentrated version as well.

Makeup For Ever Face and Body Foundation - I bought this a few months ago but the shade was too light.  Now that I've paled down a bit it's the perfect color.  I love the gel like consistency, it makes your skin look perfect without looking like you're wearing heavy coverage.  The only thing I don't like about it is the floral smell, but it's still totally a fav.

MAC Ultra Marine Brightening Serum - I love this product because as soon as you put it on you see a difference.  It seems to moisturize and clear and brighten my skin at the same time.  Also, it's easily available at my local MAC counter...I'll definitely repurchase.

Not So Favorites

Revlon Deep Waver - So I got this Deep Waver because it has a huge barrel and I thought it'd give me bigger curls, but yah it sucks.  I don't think it heats up enough and it's super heavy.  No wonder it was on sale!

Maybelline Browstyler and Milani Brown Pencil - I was disappointed in these.  The pencils were too waxy that they left dark brown uneven streaks in my brow.  Pass!
