I've been waiting for this day for two years...and it's finally here - Graduation! It's been a long road and it's definitely a happy day. My bestie Alex and I are finally done with our Masters in Business Degree. Working full time, going to school, doing makeup and blogging...well graduation is the best Christmas gift I could ask for, lol. Thanks to everyone for being so patient with me as I couldn't always post/record as much as I'd like to. I'm going to sleep a few weekends in a row straight to recuperate and then after that I'm on the grind, lol. Of course I had to share with my you the makeup I took for my graduation shots. Take a look!
This makeup is actually very similar to the makeup I did for head shots about a year ago. I went for a soft, gray smokey eye. Gray is such a wearable color, and gives me the oomph I want while still keeping it soft. I actually used the Sigma Bare Palette because it had all the colors I needed. I used elope, snoops, hitch, and act.
For the lips, I wanted to do a my lips but better type of deal, and went for a warm, mauve tone with gloss just in the center. I actually used a drugstore combo - Jordana Tawny Lipliner and Rimmel Lipstick from the Kate Moss Collection.
On my cheeks I went with a mauvey blush - Frat Boy by The Balm. I put a little extra on so it would photograph well.
Of course I had to thrown on some lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies, classic!
I finished it off my curling my hair with a curling wand to give loose curls. The top of my head doesn't really matter because I have the cap on lol. The BF actually took these graduation shots for me and my bestie for the free-ski lol and we're printing and framing them as graduation parents for the parentals lol.
