Magenta & Orange Lips of the Day

Hi Bellas,

Tis the season to play with fun, bold colored lips!  Today I'm showing you a lip combo that was inspired from my girl Jackie aka LilPumpkinPie05.  It's a gorgeous orange/magenta combination.  Sounds a little odd but it goes together quite nicely.  Check it out!

Here is what I used but feel free to dupe it for whatever you have.  Purple lipstick - MAC Violetta, Magenta Lipliner - MAC Magenta Lip Pencil, and Orangey Coral Gloss - MAC Lychee Luxe Lipglass.  You can also go for a deeper lip pencil in a wine shade.  LilPumpkinPie05 used MAC Vino, which gives it a deeper purple effect.  I forgot to use that one but I like the effect Magenta gives as well.

Here are the products swatched so you can get an idea of how they look - from top to bottom:  lipstick, lipliner, and gloss.

Step 1:  Line your lips with the magenta lip pencil.

Step 2:  Fill in your lips with the purply lipstick.  I like to use a lip brush to make it more precise.

Step 3:  Finally, apply the orange lipgloss to mainly the center of your lips and blend it in.

You get this really pretty orangey/magenta mix.  Reminds me of Sherbert!
