I was browsing through some old posts and found one that was never posted. Since it is wedding season, I thought it'd still be relevant to post this bridal consultation that I did for an Indian Bride. Check it out!
I recently did the bridal consultation for an upcoming Indian Wedding. Everything went really well...I'm actually doing two looks for the bride. A more natural look for the daytime ceremony and then I'll be redoing her makeup in the evening for the reception. The bride to be usually sticks to neutrals and browns during the day and wanted a bit more color.
I already knew I was going to break out the Spiced Chocolate quad from the MAC Cult of Cherry Collection. The colors are earth toned and warm and pretty on tan skin. On her lips I used MAC So Scarlet lipstick and she loved it!
It's important to reach a a happy medium between what your clients want and what you would recommend would look best on them. She wanted a very light application of blush so I accentuated her cheekbones with sculpting and highlighting powder to make sure she still had definition. We also skipped on lining her waterline since she has very sensitive eyes. Instead, I applied liner just to her lower lashline.
Bride's Daytime Look Using the Spiced Chocolate Quad
Here's What I Used (All MAC unless otherwise specified)
FACE
-smashbox primer
-cinema secrets foundation
-graftobian powder
-shadester sculpt powder
-CRC rose colored blush
-light flush MSF
EYES
-bare canvas paint
-spiced chocolate quad
-Revlon colorstay liquid liner in blackest black
-Ardell No #9 lashes
-telescopic mascara
LIPS
-plum soft lipliner
-so scarlet lipstick
-jampacked lip glass
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the evening look. We chose to do a smokey purple eye with hepcat and some other purple eyeshadows. I love Indian/Arabic weddings because I have more freedom to play with color.
Till next time, Ciao Bellas!

Hey Ren! Love the post! Thank you for posting this. Might duplicate this look for an upcoming wedding if you don't mind :)
