Hi Bellas,
I'm back with another beauty review and this time i'm reviewing a total of 8 items all in this one post! I finally got to try the Balm's NudeTude palette as well as some really cool new brands. Check it out!
The first item I received, the Eyesential Under Eye Enhancer was definitely a new technology i've never tried before. Literally, you apply a tiny bit under your eyes and poof! You feel some tightening and smoothing and any fine lines are temporarily frozen. I was amazed! The tightening sensation was intense and instant! I really want to try this on my friend who has issues with fine lines under her eyes. This is the first product I've tried that claims line smoothing where you can see an instant change.
I received this StarMaker peel in my last ShopNBC Beauty Bag. I'm still a bit reluctant to try it because my skin is so sensitive. I'm going to try and test it out on my inner ARM first to see if I have any allergic reactions and then i'll report back.
I've tried this brand before. I used their conditioning rinse which is a substitute for shampoo...I think it's better for a curlier hair type. However, this time I received the hydrating finishing cream. At first I thought it was a type of hair serum which I always apply onto damp, freshly shampooed hair. Then I realized that the directions said apply on dry hair, whoops! No wonder my hair didn't feel as hydrated lol. This is more of a finishing product - it's light, not greasy and has a subtle citrus scent. I like using this on my hair after it's curled or styled to finish it off and control fly-aways.
I've heard of the Comodynes tanning towelettes before. I'm looking super pale right now so I can't wait to try these out!
I'm not going to lie, I haven't had much lucky with eyelash serums in the past but I was determined to give the Epione a go. My problem is that I don't stick with application long enough to see results. I've incorporated this into my morning facial routine...so far it's been about 2 weeks. No results yet but I'll report back!
I was intrigued by the Damascena Body Serum. It's a nice size and the bottle is glass, super luxurious! I like the concept but wasn't a huge fan of the cologne like scent. However, it applied silky smooth and does seem to hydrate more than your average body lotion. I gave the bottle to my co-worker and she loves it.
I really love this palette. The colors are super pigmented and easy to apply. I love the mix of mattes and shimmers. In a perfect world I would have liked a matte highlight shade but this palette is great non-the less. I actually prefer it to Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Check out the pigmented swatches!
I'm always a fan of Eve Pearl Products. This lipgloss is a creamy, mauvey pink shade. It's a semi-sheer creamy consistency that's great for everyday and can be built up or put on top of a lipstick for more intensity.
You can find all of these products at www.ShopNBC.com. They have an entire section dedicated to beauty products.
I'm thinking of doing a tutorial using the NudeTude Palette...would you guys be interested? Let me know any color combinations/recommendations in the comments below!
