I'm back with another review. This one is definitely overdue. I first got my hands on the OCC Tint at last year's NY Makeup Show and i've been meaning to review it for the longest time. I'm a huge fan of tinted moisturizers and this one does not disappoint!
The formula itself is pretty thin and liquid-like. I like to apply this tinted moisturizer with a standard foundation brush because it's the easiest way to control the consistency. I feel like using my fingers would get messy and using a sponge would absorb too much of the thin product.
The good thing about this formula is that you don't need to set it if you don't want to. However, I do like using it with a bit of powder to add a little bit of brown/warmth to my skin. I mix Y2 and Y4 for a perfect match. OCC Founder David Klasfeld matched me himself.
PROS
-looks great on, nice semi-matte finish
-feels light on the skin
-nice size container - easy to pack in a kit, travel, or makeup bag
-100% vegan - oil, silicone, paraben, petroleum-derivatives free - great for your skin!
-nice range of colors that is grouped by red and yellow tones - awesome!
CONS
-photographs a little light on camera
-the dispenser at the top tends to get product stuck in it, this means that after a while it will come spurting out causing a mess. However I just looked at the website, the bottles look like they have a new cap so maybe they fixed it.
I'm thinking about doing my own custom mix of these two foundations into a separate bottle to get my perfect match. I think I might also try to pick up Y3 since that's my typical match in the airbrush formula.
If you're looking for a new tinted moisturizer, I'd say give this one a try!
