Products I Regret Buying Series - Lorac Evening Out Powder/Concealer Kit

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another post in my "Products I Regret Buying" series.  This time around, Lorac takes the hit.  I think it's overall a fabulous brand and I got a great deal on one of their products, but I gotta be honest and let you know why I wouldn't repurchase one of their items again.

I purchased the Evening Out Complexion Kit in Tan for only $10 on sale at www.hautelook.com .  I don't have a lot of Lorac products but have heard great things about the brand.  I was amazed at this great deal and was happy they had a Tan shade that seemed to be a great fit.  I mentioned this product in my Hautelook Haul Video at about 5 minutes and 30 Seconds in:

Here are my thoughts on the kit:

Pros

• Beautiful packaging
• Love how it comes with powder and a slide out drawer with two concealer colors 
• Good deal
• The tones in the tan set seemed spot on - a mix of yellow and brow undertones

Cons

• The concealer is very sheer
• The power is very chalky 

Honestly, the set is a great deal, but I just don't like how the products look on my skin.  The powder looks chalky and cakey even after I mist a makeup setting spray.  I should've saved the $10.
