FOTD: Old School Ren Look - Dramatic Green and Gold

I wanted to share with you a look I wore recently - I went back to Old School Ren.  This was has color and drama!  Best yet, I used an affordable 88 palette and still got lots of color pay-off.

I actually wore this look for St. Patty's day.  My girls and I went out for dinner which is more rare these days since two of us work full time and are in our MBA program as well, and one of them just had a baby.  I wanted to go all out and do a sexy, dramatic look while incorporating green for St. Patty's Day.

I wanted to make the look affordable and I really want to make more use of my 88 palettes since many of you have them and can recreate the look.  I ending up using the 88 Metallic palette from www.sedonalace.com to get most of the colors (use code renren for $4.00 off your order).  I was surprised how pigmented the greens in this palette were (there are about 5 greens in the palette, kinda hard to tell from the picture).

For the gold, I used Goldilux from Sugarpill, a must-have!  I wanted sparkly and this glittery gold gave it!
 On the lips, I'm rocking a nude favorite of mine, MAC Brave New Bronze (limited edition unfortunately).
