Thanks for helping me pick out my look for NYE! Of course I had to show you pictures of everything I chose from hair, to makeup to nails.
I went with the short dress! I went to a house party at a loft and I thought the long dress would be too formal. Since it was chilly, I paired the short dress with a black blazer, black tights and my velvet platforms from Dorothy Perkins. Inside I simply took off the blazer and was good to go!
I didn't realize it till that weekend, but these shoes were one size too big! LOL I put on various stick on shoes cushions to fill them out but they were very uncomfortable. Fortunately I had my flats to go for the party and ended up putting the heels in the corner and dancing in my $10 Dr. Scholl flats all night long.
I went for a neutral smokey with glitter...typical of me, lol. I also kept the lips pretty neutral so that there would be less transfer for a New Years' kiss lol.
For my hair, I clipped in my pre-curled extensions which I curled using a clipless barrell curler. I had pin curled my own hair the night before as well - first time and it worked great! I saved so much money on my hair this year by doing it myself, score!
Oh and here's a shot of my manicure - pink and sparkly! I'm still rocking the combo on my toes.

Your hair looked great! You said you used pin curls the night before. What setting lotion did you use? I'm gonna be doing pin curls on myself for a party & wanted to know what if any setting lotion people recommend? Thanks so much!
