I'm back with my last Halloween tutorial of 2011! I decided to end it with my favorite costume - a mermaid! I absolutely fell in love with the costume and did a super pretty, bright look to go with it. This is definitely an old school Ren throw-back look with vibrant shadows and lots of shimmer!
Check out the video!
The video is still in the editing process, but since it is Halloween, I wanted to make sure to get this post up today. I'll finish editing the video and get it up soon! It's a look that can be worn without the costume ;)

Honestly, it took me a while to figure out what kind of look to do. When I think of a Mermaid, I think of a fresh-faced glowy look. But....it is Halloween, and how fun is a natural look, lol? I decided to coordinate my look with the costume and used similar, jewel toned colored on the eyes. Also, since this tutorial is pretty last minute, I figured that this super pretty look could be used any time of the year.
I added sparkle, glitter, and color to my face to really go all out with the look using Graftobian Luster Creams and Powders as well as the FantasEyes eyeshadow Palettes.
The final look! The colors look much more vibrant in person. I'm still trying to figure out how to take the best pictures with my new digital camera. It's a Sony Cybershot. If anyone has any tips about settings, please let me know! I preferred the pictures on my old camera but the video on this one is so much better.
Here's What I Used (All Graftobian Makeup unless otherwise mentioned):
