I'm back with another review and giveaway. I know you've all probably heard of the Z-Palette. I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in a more expensive palette since I had literally two dozen empty MAC palettes around, but boy am I glad I did. It's really an amazing product. Check out these beauties! I got the large size in black (more of a professional look for my kit) and zebra (more of a fun look for my personal makeup). They also come in a quad size and recently I heard they started selling the pro size.

You can see that the palette itself is pretty deep. It can fit a deeper eyeshadow without a problem.
I'm going to be honest. The real reason I decided to look into Z Palettes is because I bought a whole bunch of Kevyn Aucoin pan blushes. They came in clear plastic, temporary holders and I wasn't about to buy the hard blush holders. If I was going to put them in a MAC palette I would need to put a magnet on the back. The Z palette is already magnetic so these pans stick right to it. And believe me, they really stick!
You can also get this empty 28 palette which is also magnetic and holds MAC size shadows. It retails for just $13.00
I highly recommend the Z Palettes. I am definitely going to purchase more. While you're on this site, they have a lot of really great, affordable items worth checking out. They sell their own individual eye shadows in pan form for just $4.50 and they also carry Sleek palettes for $11.50! Score!

I love both, as usual I have a terrible time deciding. If I was buying it myself and had the money available, I'd probably buy them both and put eyeshadows in one and... well I would say blushes in the other, but I probably have more eyeshadows that need a home, and only a few blushes. So they's probably both get eyeshadows and whichever blush I was fancying at the time, if it fit... :P
If I had to pick one, I guess I would pick the black one, cause I am reserved most of the time and only zebra wild once in a while, and I think the black would frame the eyeshadows better and not take away from them.

I would love (another) black one! Lol I got one at IMATS NYC back in April and really wish I would have gotten more! I depotted all my WnW Color Icon palettes and put them in the Z palette along with a few other miscellaneous shadows for my kit. I need one for blushes now :) and maybe one for Inglot shadows since you can order just the pans online!

I would love the Zebra print! I bought one z palette at the makeup show Chicago and wish I wouldve got more! These palettes are truely amazing, I would use it for eyeshadows because I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but they are not clear from the top so sometimes when I am on gigs I have to pull out all my palettes so I can easily view all the colors, but if I win this, I will definately use it for my mac eyeshadows!!!

It would really great when I travel, which I do a lot, and allow my to mix it up for each of my trips...instead of relying on the same all-in-one palettes.

Either one would be perfect for my NYX single shadows. They aren't round so they don't fit in standard palettes. Grrr. :P
ps I laughed upon re-reading my comment. It sounds like I own different brands of eyeshadows when in fact I own 4 NYX shadows, a gift-with-purchase thing from my mom, and one maybelline quad. hee hee.
