Z Palette Review & Giveaway & Discount from Devu Cosmetics

I'm back with another review and giveaway. I know you've all probably heard of the Z-Palette. I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in a more expensive palette since I had literally two dozen empty MAC palettes around, but boy am I glad I did. It's really an amazing product.  Devu Cosmetics gave me and you the chance to try this amazing product, make sure to check this one out!

Check out these beauties!  I got the large size in black (more of a professional look for my kit) and zebra (more of a fun look for my personal makeup).  They also come in a quad size and recently I heard they started selling the pro size.

Here are my empty palettes, just ready for filling!

You can see that the palette itself is pretty deep.  It can fit a deeper eyeshadow without a problem.
Side angle...the little bottom section is just cardboard packaging.  If I could change one thing about the palette it would be to put the wrapping all around so there would be no individual lines.  Sometimes when I open the palette I pull at the wrong section and it's slightly annoying.  Not a big deal though.

I'm going to be honest.  The real reason I decided to look into Z Palettes is because I bought a whole bunch of Kevyn Aucoin pan blushes.  They came in clear plastic, temporary holders and I wasn't about to buy the hard blush holders.  If I was going to put them in a MAC palette I would need to put a magnet on the back.  The Z palette is already magnetic so these pans stick right to it.  And believe me, they really stick!
Here I am holding my palette vertically.  Absolutely no tippage.  The blushes are secure.  The magnet is super duper strong.  If I tried to do this in a MAC palette the blushes would be all over the ground.
I think one of the best selling points is the clear lid.  Easy to see what you're looking for and it eliminates messy labeling.
Here are some shadows from my personal collection.  The Stila shadows pop right in because they're metal, same with the square aveda palette.  I depotted the urban decay smaller circle pan on the left.
You can also get this empty 28 palette which is also magnetic and holds MAC size shadows.  It retails for just $13.00

I highly recommend the Z Palettes.  I am definitely going to purchase more.  While you're on this site, they have a lot of really great, affordable items worth checking out.  They sell their own individual eye shadows in pan form for just $4.50 and they also carry Sleek palettes for $11.50!  Score!

    I love both, as usual I have a terrible time deciding. If I was buying it myself and had the money available, I'd probably buy them both and put eyeshadows in one and... well I would say blushes in the other, but I probably have more eyeshadows that need a home, and only a few blushes. So they's probably both get eyeshadows and whichever blush I was fancying at the time, if it fit... :P

    If I had to pick one, I guess I would pick the black one, cause I am reserved most of the time and only zebra wild once in a while, and I think the black would frame the eyeshadows better and not take away from them.

    I would love (another) black one! Lol I got one at IMATS NYC back in April and really wish I would have gotten more! I depotted all my WnW Color Icon palettes and put them in the Z palette along with a few other miscellaneous shadows for my kit. I need one for blushes now :) and maybe one for Inglot shadows since you can order just the pans online!

    Hi Ren!

    I would love the Zebra print! I bought one z palette at the makeup show Chicago and wish I wouldve got more! These palettes are truely amazing, I would use it for eyeshadows because I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but they are not clear from the top so sometimes when I am on gigs I have to pull out all my palettes so I can easily view all the colors, but if I win this, I will definately use it for my mac eyeshadows!!!

    Iv heard about the Z-palette from the CRC website. i havent had an opportunity to try it out yet cos a lot of these international brands do not have outlets here in Nigeria. Id so love to try this out.

    Id like the black one please. black is my fav colour and it would go well with my box which is black.

    im dying to depot some of my eye shadows and blushes so if i win it, the Z-palette is where im gg to put them.

I have been waiting to get my hands on a Z-Palette and the black one is so clean and professional looking so that's what I would pick! I have some magnetic Motives Cosmetics and NYX eyeshadows that I would put in them :)

    Happy Happy! I would love a pink Z palette to put all of my depotted MAC mineralized blushes in. I depotted them all thinking they would fit in a MAC palette, but it's not as deep as the Z palettes! They need a home rather than hanging out on my vanity top! o.0

    My heart says the Zebra palette, but my brain says the black one. :)
    Either one would be perfect for my NYX single shadows. They aren't round so they don't fit in standard palettes. Grrr. :P

    ps I laughed upon re-reading my comment. It sounds like I own different brands of eyeshadows when in fact I own 4 NYX shadows, a gift-with-purchase thing from my mom, and one maybelline quad. hee hee.

    the pink one is my favorite! :) last christmas i got an eyeshadow kit that's in huge bulky packaging and i can't take it anywhere with me so i think i would put those in it. such an awesome giveaway, thank you!

    I love the zebra print in the Z-Palette, it´s so fun and different. I would depot some eyeshadows and blushes I have.. I always end up with dozens of little container from individual eyeshadows/blushes and this is a great solution.
