I'm back with another wedding post. Today's bride went for a subtle smokey eye with a hint of purple. I definitely think you can wear color for your big day if it's done the right way.

I had some time to kill, so I got a shot of my kit. I always use the desk tables when I'm in hotels because it's a nice amount of table top space.
And the bride! I also did the mom's makeup in the background to the right but didn't get a clear shot of it.
We definitely wanted a nice bright highlight under the eyes. We kept the lids smokey but subtle. It's a gray with a soft wash of purple.
Dress shot!
The sentimental side of me likes to stick around with the bride, making sure she's got company and to help her with everything until she's ready to walk down the aisle. I got lucky because I got to get a pic with the bride this time. The bride sent me a sweet thank you note for not only doing the makeup but for being a true friend and sticking around, how sweet!
Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
She looks gorgeous!
