Sigma Make Me Cool - Aqua Brush Set Review/Giveaway

Hi Bellas,

This post is way over due. Who doesn't love a Sigma Makeup Review and Giveaway? Today i'll be featuring their Aqua Brush Set from the Makeup Me Cool Collection. I compare it to the original professional set, go over pros and cons and of course have a giveaway!

First off, everything comes in this nifty snap case. It's made of a leather like material in the gorgeous aqua color. It's sturdy, and it stores your brushes and it's great for travel.

I like how it separates into two separate cups...they come in handy for separating clean and dirty brushes on a gig.

In addition to the holder you get the original Profession brush set with 12 brushes but in this new teal color. Not only are the handles in aqua, but the ferrules are a brushed metal color as well.

My Review:
I've probably used and washed these over a dozen times on myself and clients in the last few months. I always get compliments on them because honestly it is a gorgeous brush set that really stands out. The holder is a true winner for me since it's practical and it looks great sitting on my vanity or tucked away in my kit.

In terms of performance, I do notice some differences between this set and the original set - slight differences but there are some.

a little more shedding
Crease fluff brush is a lot more fluffy than original set

In all, if you're a brush junkie this is a nice set to have. Either get the professional set or this one and you should be set. This set retails for $99 on www.SigmaMakeup.com

I'd love to win the sigma brushes because I think sigma has the best brushes out there. Eventhough I don't have any sigma brush but I've heard a lot of good reviews on them and that's why I'd love to confirm it myself.. and in my opinion, to make beautiful makeup the key is to have great brushes alongside.

On Wednesday of last week, I was let go from my job. I have been saving up to pursue my makeup artistry for awhile now, and being let go from my 8-6 office job has been a blessing in disguise. I watch you and Tiffanyd religiously. I am 25 years old and am going to journey down a whole new path in life, and I finally feel ready yet terrified. Winning these brushes will jump start my pathway, and I will be able to show up with confidence and great brushes.

The reason why i'd like to win is because as a student during our hairshows or photoshoots we all have to use the brushes they give us (which isn't even a full set) and 99.9% of the time students get brushes mixed up or lost or swiped. These beautiful brushes would be awesome to have they'd stand out and no one could mistake them for theirs...not to mention the set would have everything i need :)
