Happy Birthday to Me! My Plans, My Hair and A Giveaway!

Hi Bellas,

It's my birthday!  I took the day off today and Monday to celebrate so I probably won't have another post up till Tuesday.  Meanwhile, I wanted to share with you my busy weekend plans - I've got some weddings gigs and some pamper time.  I'm also going to throw in a giveaway just because it's my birthday!

I've got a lot going on this weekend...here's what I HOPE to accomplish, lol:

Friday
Today, on my birthday, I'm waking up nice and early to work on a take home exam for business law, lol.  Fun right?  I want to try and knock it out so I have the rest of the weekend free.  I'm hoping I can knock it out in 4 hours, crossing my fingers!  Because this afternoon I'm doing part 1 of makeup for an Indian Wedding.  After that, I'm headed to my friend's housewarming party and I can't wait to eat some of her mom's famous Trini Cuisine.  This is the bride I'm working on.  I featured the looks I'd be doing in this blog post

Saturday
Tomorrow I have the same Indian Wedding at 5:30am.  After that I'm going right to bed and then waking up after lunch to do another different wedding.  Then right after that I have the last part of makeup for the Indian Wedding - the evening reception makeup change.  This is the second bride, i'll be doing and I featured her look in this blog post.

Of course I'll take pics and put them into a blog post.  And then finally, after all the makeup, I have my birthday dinner with friends around 8pm, hope I'm not too pooped!

Sunday
Sunday morning I'm going to finish up my business law exam since it's due today.  I want to get it done early because from lunch on I'm reserving Sunday for BF birthday surprise time :)  Let's hope he plans something good!

Monday
Monday, I plan on taking a day just for me after a crazy weekend!  I'm getting my nails and hair did!  For my nails, I'm definitely thinking something bright and glittery like this gorgeous nail shot from www.alllacqueredup.com.  I was thinking of throwing in a massage but my hair is pricey enough, lol.

For my hair, I'm keeping the same lighter look, brown base and honey highlights.  I'm going to try and film my hair appointment since a lot of you guys ask about what color I dye my hair.    I like the light look of my hair but I want it to be less yellow and more warm/honey. Here are some inspiration pics:

I like this pic of Leona Lewis.  Not the top part of her head, because I think it looks a bit ashy, more so the color on the bottom.  I usually dye my base a warm brown and put honey highlights on top.

This is also a nice picture of Maggie Q with caramel highlights.  I want my hair this tone but myabe a bit lighter.  I usually keep the bottom part of my hair dark so that it's not too light overall, but hopefully you can see that in the video.

Lastly, I'm going to throw in a giveaway just for the heck of it!  Hopefully you all are starting to take some fabulous Summer Vacations, in that case, I'll be giving something away that comes in handy!
