I'm back with another makeover. This was my second time working with my client. You may remember that I made her over for her Alter Ego Photoshoot here. She had taken the pictures to display at her big 40th birthday bash. This post, i'll show you the glam look we did for her Hollywood Affair themed birthday party.

The party was an all black and white affair. My client had this amazing black and white ball gown that she had ordered. For her makeup, she wanted something that popped but nothing too crazy.
I decided to do a classic look that works on everyone - silver smokey eye with brown above the crease. This is a signature look that Jennifer Hudson rocks and it's uber glamorous. To have an extra pop, I foiled MAC's Platinum pigment on the lid. Besides that, I really worked on her skin and kept the lips neutral.
The final look! She definitely does not look forty right? On her lips I used MAC Chesnut lip pencil, Modestly lipstick, and Clear lipglass.
Hope you enjoyed! Till next time, Ciao Bellas!

oh you fancy huh? haha, that dress is super diva!
Wonderful look! Her eyes really stand out!
Amazing! I love this look. I love foiling pigments over matte shadows it just makes the look pop even more...something about silver or golden smokey eyes that make me melt! I recently did a blog post on a shoot where I used the Naked palette to create a shimmery gold/bronze smokey eye WITH leopard print at the corners!! I love your work I truely do and thanks for sharing!

I love how much her eyes pop and yet her makeup isn't overwhelming because the rest of the face is nice and neutral. She's a beautiful woman and you did a great job with her.
I have a web site that sells discontinued cosmetics from brands like Stila, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, and Lancome. I hope you come by and please say hello.
