Hi Bellas,
I'm back with another client makeover. I did a simple and elegant look for a client looking to get done up for her husband's holiday work party.
My client wanted to amp up her look for this special event. Her husband didn't even know she was getting made up. Since it was a work event, she wanted to keep it understated but we still wanted her to look and feel glamorous. I went with neutral tones and worked on contouring to define her cheekbones and slim the face. A little bit of highlight and contour alone can make a huge difference! Having this skill as a makeup artist really sets you apart from the average makeup wearer.
I typically do lashes on my clients for special events. My client told me that when she wore strip lashes for her wedding they felt uncomfortable. As an alternative, I applied individual lashes. They feel lighter and look more natural if applied correctly. As a makeup artist you should be able to do both a strip and individuals. If you're a regular makeup wearer, I suggest you try it too!
Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
