Zombie Makeover

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another Halloween makeover! This is a look I did on one of my clients for a Halloween party. It's funny because this time of the year is the only time I really get male clients, lol. He wanted to be a very gruesome looking dead zombie. Here's an inspiration pic that the client sent me. He wanted to have the gore of this clown from zombieland, minus the clown makeup.

My client actually came to be around 2pm...when the party he needed to attend was at about 10pm.  I had a lot on my schedule that day but I assured him that the makeup would last.  I used a combination of spirit gum, liquid latex and other theatrical products that would stay until he removed them.  I also used some various shadows in purple, green and brown to simulate bruising.

Every zombie makeup is different.  I started out with a few cuts similar to the clown and then went from there.  Using the tissue paper method combined with scar wax gave the realistic appearance of wounds.

You're probably wondering why I skipped the mouth?  Well he had dinner reservations that night, lol.  I gave him some gel blood, clear gloss, and black pigment powder so that he could apply it before he was ready to go out.  The gel blood could be applied all around the mouth.  The black powder could be dotted around it to simulate dark blood clotting.  Lastly, the clear gloss would give a shiny look to the rest of the blood on his face and make it look more juicy and fresh.

Hope you all enjoyed! Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
