I'm back with another bridal makeover. Today's bride came to me a week before her wedding, so we had to come up with a look and quick! She wanted a classic bridal look that would enhance her natural features.

My bride wanted to look like herself but better. We wanted to avoid heavy makeup that would make her look like a different person. I decided to focus on pretty eyes, clear skin and a bridal glow. The bride also wanted to make sure that I made her eyes appear even - one was a little larger than the other. The key to make a look more symmetrical is to balance out the eyes by raising the liner and shadow a bit higher on one than the other.
The bride's venue was gorgeous! I love when I have an extra big room to get ready. After consulting with her family, the bride actually changed her mind on the look right before the wedding. This is why you need to be flexible in your makeup and pack a complete kit with other options. She wanted to incorporate purple into the look and add more pink on the cheeks and the lips.
An important skill of being a makeup artist is being able to combine what your bride wants with what you feel works best as a professional. I incorporate the purples and pinks but made sure to keep it light and pretty. i know that originally she wanted a really fresh, natural look and wanted to keep that feel.
Till next time, Ciao Bellas!

Amazing job on the eyes. Very dramatic "after" as the eyes look as though they are completely symetrical!! awesome.
Wow, you did a great job at making her eyes looks the same size! Great job!
Hey Ren,
Re:The tip you gave on the symmetry. Did you raised the liner and shadow on the smaller eye? What was the technique(smudge with a brush, neutral is better??? etc..)
I love your before and afters!
Her makeup is beautiful
