I'm back with another review and giveaway. I had the chance to test out some new products from Sedona Lace. They just came out with a set of Mineral Makeup shades that recently launched on their website. I'm pretty picky when it comes to mineral makeup but these products passed the test!

Prior to testing out these products, I was happy to work with the company to give them my thoughts on mineral makeup. I've tested out about a dozen lines or so and have come to know what works and doesn't work.

My First Impressions:
Once again, the products came packaged super securely and arrively very quickly. This is common practice for all Sedona Lace shipments. The mineral makeup was shrinkwrapped and also comes with a sifter and sticker that seals the sifter. This is awesome because you know that know one has tampered with the product and you don't have to worry about leaks and spills in transit. The packaging is pretty basic but I appreciate that the logo is embossed on the lid instead of a cheap sticker.
Testing It Out
The product clearly lists all of the ingredients on the back and also contains spf 15. I noticed that the texture was very soft and silky. There are only four shades at this time (fairest, nude, sunny beige, and tan), but I was lucky to be a match for the darkest shade which is tan. The tan shade had just enough yellow and brown in it to be a nice match. It applied very smoothly. I like to use it with a powder brush to set my tinted moisturizer for daily wear. You can also apply it for heavier coverage with use of a denser brush. I had no reactions to the product and my skin looked really smooth and polished after application. If you feel your skin with the makeup on, it really felt like silk. Check out my video to see the different ways to apply the foundation from light to heavy coverage.
In sum, I was actually impressed to find out how good this product is. It looked great on and felt silky smooth. Unfortunately there is a limited shade range available, but stay tuned for new shades to come soon. The price point is moderately listed at $16.95 for an 8 gram jar.

i would love to win!! i too tried many kinds of mineral makeup and they all dont work for me, they either dont have my shade or they dont stay on as long as i would like, there's something always wrong, and I would really love to try this product out and hopefull stay as a customer and help this line grow :) .

This MMU sounds like it's perfect for super sensitive skin, which I definitely have! I never knew the tip about wetting the brush, so that's something I'll have to try out!
As for why I'd like to win this, I'd have to say first and foremost my skin is SUPER sensitive to almost everything in makeup. It makes using makeup really hard, but it seems I'm most sensitive to foundations. Right now I use Bare Minerals, but I've found that it can sometimes irritate my rosacea and eczema, so I've been going without. Unfortunately, that means that my face looks terrible, and I don't even want to go in public. I'm hoping to find a new MMU, buttt I don't have a job atm, so it's been kinda hard to get makeup haha. Winning would be awesome, but just knowing there's a new brand out there to try is good too. :)

I would like to win because I've yet to find the PERFECT foundation. I have tried several different brands and the only mineral foundation I've worn was Bare Minerals. While I liked it at first, I began to dislike it. I also like being able to have buildable coverage because some days I need to cover up more than others.

I would love to win because I can never find the right foundation for myself. Even getting consulted at Sephora, it's like a headache finding the perfect color, texture and price point.
