I've finally gotten around from posting pictures from the wedding I attended last month in Houston. We made it a girls trip at the same time and it was so much fun. I also did the bride's makeup. If you follow the blog, you'll remember my memorable bridal trial with her. You can also check out the post here. I'll show you pics of the fun girl's weekend...and also break down the makeup.

I shared a room with two of my besties and two of my other sorority sisters that I haven't seen in a long time! We lived it up in Houston...mainly going out to eat actually, lol.
The only "touristy" thing we did was go to a museum...ummm the National Museum of Funeral History, lol. It was a random decision. We googled things to do in Houston and this came up.
It was actually super interesting! I highly recommend. Check out the cool hearse from back in the day.
Embalming station
Traditional Japanese casket and hearse...gorgeous right?
Now for the wedding pics...gorgeous shots from the photographer. The bride getting ready.
Classic kiss shot.
Love the vintage feel.
Gorgeous black and white shot.
Bride and father of the bride. You can see the makeup I did here.
Check out my cameo!
Now some shots taken by me and the girls. Here is the reception.
Bride making her way down the soul train line. She changed into a short white dress so she could get down!
Table arrangements made by the bride.
Gorgeous venue...can you believe this used to be someone's house?
Me and the girls ;)
This shot is for the ethereal prey. This is actually the groom's cake...pies from House of Pies!
Let's talk about makeup. We wanted something very soft and natural for the bride, but we still wanted to emphasize her eyes. We went for gold and brown shadows and a pretty pink lip. I also airbrushed her to give her a flawless finish. I love the vintage look that the hair, makeup, veil and dress all contributed to. Check out her gorgeous bouquet made out of donated broaches from family and friends.
