I use Q-tips to spread my eyeliner just a teensy bit, to spot conceal, and to wipe up any booboos on the sides of my eyes when doing eyeshadow. ^^ Plus, Q-tips are great nose ring cleaners!
I tend to be super messy when doing my makeup. I make a lot of mistakes and it's irritating but I'm sorta new to this. So I use q-tips CONSTANTLY! It's a lot easier than taking all of my makeup off and starting over. Oops got mascarra under my lashes just use a q-tip, fudged up that eyeshadow line use a q-tip. Got loose shadow all over my orbital bone under my eye, gotta grab a q-tip. They also come in handy for cleaning up minor scraps and with as bad of a klutz as I am that's seriously handy. Basically if we run out of q-tips in the house I freak out, and the husband can't stand being around me lol. You can also use them to substitute for a makeup brush that's broken or lost. They do okay crease work. You can use the for cleaning up a botched nailpolish job too. Like when you get it in your nailbed but otherwise it looks perfect. All you have to do is gently dip it in nailpolish remover once the polish has dried and very carefully clean the messed up area so you don't have to completly redo the nail which saves on polish.
i use them most often to fix the lipstick mistakes. years of this and i still push my lips together..giving me a nice circle instead of lips. so i use them to fix that daily boo-boo.
I use Q-tips to get lotion out of their pot container.
I also use them dipped in lotion to fix any makeup or nail polish mistakes.

yay q-tips! i love them and always have a big box in my closet- i use them for general hygiene, and to fix my eye makeup- but I love using them to touch up my "do it myself" manicures. I am not so good at painting my own nails, so going around them with a q tip soaked in nail polish remover is a must to make my hands presentable!
I use Q-tips to clean out any fall outs, clean out the edges of my eye makeup, clean out a boo boo, smudges, and such. There's so many uses. There's other after-shower rituals I can do with it :)
I would use the qtips to clean up the edges of my eyeshadow. I could also use them whenever I make a mistake using my liquid eyeliner instead of having to reapply the eyeshadow I could just apply a small amount wherever I made the boo boo.
I use Q-tips for *everything* under the sun, but especially to neaten up my lower lash line if my liner starts to smudge. Using your finger is really unhygienic and only makes the smudging worse in my opinion
Probably the most special way that I use Q-tips is to teach my 4 year old son how to count. I tell him how many to go get for me, and he counts them out in my hand one by one. It is the cutest thing ever :)
Everyday when I put on my make-up, I have some sort of mistake that needs to be touched-up. Q-tips are the perfect size and will take away any eyeshadow that has gotten in the wrong spot.
I use q-tips to::
--apply my eyeliner; I can't get the handle of the brushes, etc to do it and I like a thick smokey line, it works perfect.
--I also do my foundation first so I use q-tips to fix beneath my eyes when I have fallout, smudges, etc.
--When I mess up with my lipstick or get it just a tiny bit outside my lip, q-tips to the rescue!
--When polishing my nails instead of taking all of it off or leaving it around the nail on the skin, q-tips fix me right up!
...that's all I can think of for now, we always have a box of q-tips in use & at least one under the sink "just in case!"
I use q-tips whenever I put on makeup. After I apply my foundation, I use them to clean off my eyebrows. I tend to get makeup in them and since my eyebrows are darker it washes them out. I dip a q-tip in water and viola perfect eyebrows and perfect makeup application around them. I also use them around my lips if I slip with a bright lipstick and underneath my eyes if my mascara touches accidentally.
I use Q-tips to apply my Face Atelier translucent powder under and around my eyes after applying concealer. It's such a delicate area that I only trust something soft and fluffy to do the trick.

I use Q-tips to clean the extra glue off eyelids when I put lashes on. Also to blend and shape my brows if I have an oops.
I use Q-Tips to clean up any makeup lines, like lipstick that has gone outside my lip line!
Because im not really good at applying make up YET, I use Q-Tips almost each time that I apply eye make up. I use it to correct or erase any mistakes I may have made during application, especially with eyeshadow. When I started to use liquid eyeliner, I learned to use a Q-Tip to smudge the line out so that its not so harsh. Another great use for a Q-Tip is to grab some ointment/lotion/cream from the container. That way, my fingers dont touch the jar or the container, and my cream/ointment/lotion remains sanitized.
The uses for a Q-Tip are positively endless! That is why they are a necessity that I have to keep on hand, all the time! :-)
Oh, Q-tips, I use them daily, mainly to clean up under my eyes for eyeshadow fallout, makes it look cleaner, i also use it on the outer V. I use Q-tips for my nails too, for clean up on my cuticles.
Definitely need them daily to shape up my outer V, straighten up my eyeliner, clean the fall out, and clean the ears :)
I use Q-tips every single day. In the evening I use them with my make up remover to take off any leftover mascara and eyeliner that did not come off by just washing my face. When I am in a hurry in the morning applying my make up and I go to far out with the eyeliner or I hit the side of my nose with my mascara wand, Q-tips are fantastic to remove that unwanted make up mistake. I can't for get the nails! Q tips are great to remove nail polish that get on the finger sometimes. Even to remove nail polish that got on your knee, yes your knee. Have you ever done your nails sitting on the couch while you are watching a show that you don't want to miss? Well I do it all the time. I rest my hand on my knee while I am painting my nails and sometimes I get nail polish on it. I really don't want to grab a cotton ball because then you get cotton on your nail and you have to do your nail again, well you get the picture. So just grab a Q-tip and presto. I love them!
I use Q-tips to clean up any smudges i have with my eyeliner and lipliner. They are also really handy when it comes to cleaning up any fallout i have-especially when using MAC pigments or glitters. I also use them to clean up the edges when im filling in my brows. Q-tips also work when im out of disposable lip gloss applicators--dont know what i would do without em!

Q-tips are great for removing eye makeup under the eye also. Even though I use eye makeup remover with a soft cotton round, Q-tips are the only way for me to get rid of the residue!!

I use q-tips to clean the corners of my eyes whenever i'm taking off my makeup. I think they are also good for taking off nail polish. For the most part, I used cotton balls, but sometimes there is nail polish in the corners of your finger nails, and that's when I use q-tips!
i use q-tips to clean up that "black-eye" you get when removing eye makeup after a shower-i like how it can get to the spots a regular cotton pad can't! i also use it to clean away fall-outs, remove nail polish from those tiny nail corners, or fix mascara oopsies=)
For me I use Q-tips for everything. I use Q-tips to remove my eyesmakeup, especially eye liner. I use Q-tips to clean makeup fall out on cheeks. I use it to make nice, smooth eyeliners. I also use it as a blending brush, just lightly blend dark color eyeshadow to not show dark harsh lines. I use it to remove nail polish when I make a mistake and need minor removal. I also use it when I need to apply concealer on my face when I am in a hurry. Moreover, it is great to put on treament on acne when I have long nails.It is so great to use for art too.

I love qtips. I always said to my bf that they are one of the best inventions. I use it for the obvious, to clean my ears, but surprisingly I do not us it for anything else, except for art projects. i make cards and rubber stamp. So i use it to smudge chalk or ink.

I love Q-tips for make-up removal. Cotton balls leave little cotton fibers all over my eyes and get stuck in my eyelashes =/ Q-tips also do a nice job applying shadow to my crease as I don't have any eye brushes ):

i use q-tips to clean away the unwanted eyeliner lines you get when your eye wrinkles from smiling, use it for cleaning the fallout eyeshadows or pigments, for wiping away lipsticks or lipglosses that's around the lips instead of on the lips, lol, sometimes i use it for concealer or i use it to do designs and masks on the face.

I agree with you on the different cotton swabs & how they just don't work as well! I use q-tips to remove excess eye shadows to create a nice & defined "outer line". I also use them for little boo boo's with mascara & eye liner.
I mostly use q-tips to clean up my eyebrow application. It's great because it cleans the eyebrow tips to a sharp shape for me. I also use the q-tip when I am applying glitter glue or eyelash glue to my false lashes.

I most often use q-tips to clean up eyeshadow mistakes and to smudge shadow under my lower lashline - it works perfectly for that! Since I have long lashes I sometimes get mascara onto my lid when applying and q-tips come in handy for a quick clean up. I also LOVE pigments which tend to have fallout therefore I use a q-tip dipped in a little moisturizer or foundation to clean up any pigment fallout.

Whenever I go out on weekends I like to put dark eyeliner on my waterline but no matter kind I get even waterproof ones tend to smug throughout the night. I always keep a few in my purse and swipe them under my eyes when I go the bathroom to keep underneath my eyes from getting too smudgy and dark.

I use Q-tips not only to clean my ears, but to clean up my nails after polishing as well. I just pour some polish remover in the cap and dip the Q-tip in to fix my nail polish mistakes! I love them! I don't use them so much to put on make up, but to take the make up off I use them to help take off my eyeliner..works nicely!
Qtips are great to clean around the keys on the computer keyboard. they are also great for getting the qunk out of the corners of the floor and the tile grout

Okay, I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I'm 28 and only learned how to apply eyeliner in April of this year. Since I'm still a newbie to the whole eyeliner thing I still make a terrible mess when I put it on - ending up with crooked lines or bumps where there should be no bumps. Besides cleaning out my ears, I use Q-tips for many things. They are a staple in my beauty kit. Q-tips are used to clean up messes and shadow fallouts, smudge liners and swatch colors. With no spatula, I'll also break a Q-tip in half and use the stick end to mix colors (foundation with moisturizer).

I use Q tips for so many things, but I think most of the time I soak the tip with alchoal and sanitize the l/g, l/s, mascara tubesm, etc and clean up the outside rim of the tube and the inner part of the applicator handle. Some times thos lippies can get really sticky. :p

I am a follower. i use q-tips to remove mascara when I make a mistake and to put on concealer. Sometimes i use it to apply eyeshadow.
Where should I start Ren. Q-tips are used in my routine every day for a number of reasons. One of course, my ears...lol. 2nd when I mess up on mascara I use a Q-tip, after I edge my hair up I use a Q-tip with alcohol. Great on shadows mess ups, and my toes when I re-do the color, I take a Q-tip to make sure to get messy part out of the corners. And mainly my jewelry..yes..I use a Q-tip every other day to shine the diamonds on my favorite items...and its works...try it!
I use qtips to clean up any fall out after doing a smokey eye look.
