Hi Bellas!
I am so glad this weekend is over, lol. Sorry about posting the winners of the Sigma Giveaway late yesterday but I had to take a sick day to recover from the massive bachelorette/bridal shower weekend I helped to coordinate this weekend. It took months to plan and it was a total success...but I was exhausted from the process! Like I said, I took a sick day off to recover from fatigue and some weird shoulder strain I got. However, it was truly worth it in the end. I'll post pics soon!
Speaking of Brides, here are pics from a Bridal Consultation I did a few weeks ago. The bride is getting married in an evening ceremony this month. Interestingly enough, she doesn't wear much makeup, but it's her fiancee who encourages her to wear more. Usually it's the guys who are anti-makeup!
The bride wanted a natural look but she wanted color at the same time. Usually with a consultation, I do one eye first and then a completely different look on the other eye to give the bride some options. On her first eye we went with completely neutral colors - champagnes and browns. On the other, we went for a purple smokey eye since she wanted color! In the end, after some consulting, we went somewhere in the middle with pinks and berries.
I also airbrushed her skin. I was happy to find out that she matched a shade of Kett Comestics perfectly! Usually I have to mix and match the colors. Here's another trick I learned...the bride's top lip is significantly lighter than her bottom lip. It looked strange with the liner and one gloss. To compensate, I added a berry toned lipgloss just to the top lip to make it balance out with the bottom one. Easy fix!
Here's What I Used (All MAC unless specified):
FACE
-MUFE Orange Corrector
-Nurturing Force Primer
-Kett Airbrush Foundation
-Housewine blush
-Redhead MSF
-Definitive Sculpting Powder
EYES
