Dame Edna showed up in MAC stores about 2 weeks ago. Initially, I wasn't uber excited about the collection, but I just had to have something with the packaging (MAC collector over here!). I ended up only picking two items (pro discount does not apply). I picked the Wisteria Trio because the purple trio had Climate Blue in it (which I have). Next, I picked up the Highlighting Powder in What a Dame! because after swatching it, I found that underneath all the shimmery stuff, the matte powder has a nice silky texture. I've been looking for a Matte highlighting powder for myself anyways.

Yes these are stickers...the compact and trio seem to have a little bit of a plastic coating on top though...hopefully it will hold!

I always feel like I have to get at least one makeup item from every collection too just to have a complete collection. I've been bad at keeping up with all the collections though but better for my wallet.
i didn't care much for this collection but the colors look sooooo good on you. the makeup looks flawless. i might have to buy this now. lol.

You make EVERYTHING look great Ren! I dunno if I'm gonna get anything for the collection (I'm not too fond of the packaging) but I saw the purple palette yesterday and the MUA was wearing it and it looked so pretty on her cause it was matte and the right shades of purple - so I MIGHT pick that up haha.

I love this look you really, really rocked it. The blue looks super hot. I remember when you made me up we had a chat about the Dame Edna collection and you mentioned that you weren't looking forward to it. I saw it at the MAC store two days ago and I wasn't impressed either.
Of course I just changed my mind ;-)

I only got 2 things from dame edna as well, wisteria trio and spectacle highlighting powder. I haven't even used either yet. Hmm. I'll definitely try this look though. Btw, the quality of the pics is awesome. I'm in need of a new can too, which one do you have?
