M.A.C Makeup - Naughty Nauticals Sea Inspired Look and Tutorial

Hi Bellas,

I finally got to uploading this video. My first tutorial in the new apartment, woo hoo! When I got this collection I knew immediately that I wanted to do the promo ad look, as evidenced by my look in the previous post. However, when it came to the tutorial, I wanted to do something a bit unexpected. Instead of going for straight blues...I wanted to see what a little mixing would do. Instead, I ended up with a gradient effect...the creams and blues mixing to create an almost green hue to the eyeshadow. I enhanced this by using lucky jade shadestick as the base to my lower lashline. A youtuber asked me why I didn't use sea me instead? I think sea me would be gorgeous under it...but again, I was going for a greenish tinge...and on top of it, I don't have sea me shadestick, lol. So that pretty much answers that question!

I made sure to rock my fav lipgloss of this collection...love knot. It was my first time trying it out on myself and I loved it! I think I like any product that has a dual toned quality to it...in this case it's a pink lipgloss with a bluish purple reflective quality. It's subtle yet still has a little extra somthin' somethin'.

Anywho...enough chatting, here's the video!
