Hi Bellas,
Do you guys remember the cartoon Gem...I was in my elementary school days, in 80's early 90's, and Gem was a hot rock star chick with bright pink hair. I swear, if I wasn't in corporate america i'd be rocking hot pink streaks! well, this look is definitely Gem-esque.
I wore the NYX candy glitter liners for the first time and they are very comparable to the urban decay glitter liners. I used it by itself on my lowerlashline but over a comparable e/s color they would just pop out more. The color was super bright in person, I don't think that was really conveyed by the video. Oh and remember how I said my webcam broke? So the volume doesn't record so I didn't get to give a lil intro or anything :( lol, you may or may not think that's a bad thing...i know my voice is kinda special, but i've grown to cope, lol. anyhow, i managed to get this tutorial thrown together and edited quickly and posted to you tube because i'm not sure how much time i'll have to post once i'm down in o-town for my mini x-mas break. the e/s look isn't anything ground breaking...i kinda had to throw it together...if it was up to me...i would've like to pair it with a bright bright white...but i dont have one :( oh well, another thing to add to the list. i'm going to try and get gesso or something from CCO like yummy411 suggested...save me some moulah!
anyways, please keep the video/look recommendations coming :) next i'll be doing a smokey eye look from my holiday video and then purple eyes for mrs. lynne.
p.s: please ignore my bright turquoise bra strap, lol, that is soooo not cute. unfortunately it's one of those bras that doesn't have an adjustable strap...my bf saw some of my video and that's the first thing he noticed. oh and the curlers too, ha ha, just ignore that.
This tutorial goes out to you Anne! Thanks for the suggestion :)

This look is so hot! Out of curiousity, what's your skin shade? From your pictures, I always assumed you were on the darker side, but wow, you totally pulled off fuschia. I love bright pinks, but i have medium skin and it never looks right on me.
btw, your hair looks gorgeous!
Jem, Jem is excitement oooooooh Jem! I used to love that show when I was growing up.
This is a great look, I love the fuschia color on your eyes.
hey honey,he he sounds like i'm talking to my BF. Actually i'm NC43 in MAC foundation, so i'm actually kinda tan. I just look pale on my webcam...i'm getting lighter in the summer though. I think you can pull it off, just go for it!
Mayaari: i love gem too! i wish i had a hot pink wig i could of worn, darn! thanks for the compliment :)
another pretty look! Just wondering do you actually wear those colors out of just for tuts?
hey elizabeth,
i actually did wear this look out, to target afterwards. it takes a lil getting used to, and i noticed i dress funkier when I do so to complement the makeup...usually i do this on the weekends or going out at night...definitely not work lol. i have bands so i can of wear them down straight and it tones it down a lil...but yah you can definitely rock it as long as you portray confidence when doing so :)
hey ren! can't view the video, don't know what's going on there. but wow! pink on you is very lovely! passionate and other pinks are on my list to get because my collection is mostly comprised of blues, greens, and purples.
and yay! a purple look. sweet :)
